Dubliner, Eamonn Doyle, had not picked up a camera for over twenty years after graduating with a photography diploma many years ago. Then one day he started to photograph old people passing outside his front door. The photographs he took turned into a self published book which he sent to Martin Parr who is a well known collector of photography books.
Parr claimed it was the best street photography he had seen in ten years and the orders rolled in.
Doyle’s success has led to two more acclaimed books and now he has collaborated with David Donohoe a soundscape artist and Neill Sweeney an abstract illustrator for a major photo festival in France at Arles.
